It's time for another KD wedding! If you're new to the blog, you must know that I am a proud member of Kappa Delta Sorority's Eta Rho chapter and I jumped at the opportunity to feature one of my lovely sister's big day :) This summer, sister Miki married her college sweetheart, Zach, on July 7th in Cincinnati, Oh. A bunch of us KD Ladies joined her to celebrate her big day and it was definitely a night to remember!
Zach and Miki had a beautiful Catholic ceremony, followed by a reception at
The Farm party center. Their red, white and blue color scheme was paired perfectly with some personal touches that reflected their love of baseball. Robert, of
White Photography, captured some very nice pictures of the couple and their guests. You can see more of these amazing photos
HERE!!!
The Bride, of course, looked beautiful and elegant in her dress. She did her own makeup with airbrush done by
Salon Rhonda. Her hair was done by her cousin/bridesmaid who works at
Salon Envie in Cincinnati, Oh.
Kappa Delta's colors are olive green and pearl white. So, as a nice tribute to her sorority, she asked that her sisters wear green on her big day. It was such a great way for her to recognize our group :) Here we are, "throwing what we know"!
Miki's bouquet and other floral arrangements were created by
Mary's Country House of Flowers. The wedding videos were filmed by
Lifetime Films, who were just rated as a 2012 Knots best for Cincinnati!
A few members of the wedding party surprised the Bride and Groom with a fun little dance number! Naturally, with the Bride's name being Miki, their routine included waving pom poms to Toni Basil's "Hey Mickey" :)
Congrats Zach and Miki! Wishing you a lifetime of laughter and happiness!
